SUPER stallion More Than Ready’s miraculous run with his two-year-olds shows no signs of stopping after promising colt Rampaging became his sire’s seventh individual juvenile winner for the season.

The Gai Waterhouse trained youngster asserted his authority over his rivals when clearing out for an emphatic 1.8-lens win in today’s ATC Super Saver Plate (1250m) at Canterbury.

Waterhouse puts the polish on three of More Than Ready’s seven 2YO winners this season including 4-len debut winner Later Gator and ruling Golden Slipper favourite, Raceway.

More Than Ready’s season highlight is fast approaching with the Mick Price trained filly Samaready favoured to win Saturday’s Group 1 $1m MRC Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield.

”He is having the most phenomenal season with his two-year-olds and this from a horse who has sired two Golden Slipper and two Magic Millions winners in the recent past,” Vinery’s Adam White said.

”He has the favourite for the Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper Stakes, three stakes winners, one stakes placed and a handful of city winners including Faustus who trialled sensationally at Rosehill on Tuesday.”

NOTE: FIVE of the seven More Than Ready winners and or stakes placed 2YO’s this season are out of Flying Spur mares.
