WORLD champion mare Zenyatta will visit Dubleo’s close relation and A.P Indy grandson Tapit in her second season at stud.

A winner of 19 races from 20 starts including 13 Grade One’s, Zenyatta recently delivered her first foal, a colt by A.P Indy son Bernardini.
Tapit was the Champion USA First Season Sire in 2008 and is the current Leading General Sire in North America.

“Zenyatta’s pedigree is a great match to the A.P Indy sire line, and in choosing Tapit, we think this will be a dynamic mating,” said the mare’s owners Jerry and Ann Moss.
Tapit stands for US$125,000 at Gainesway in Kentucky and has sired 32 stakeswinners in his first four crops.
His dam, Tap Your Heels is a half-sister to Dubleo’s dam, the Secretariat mare Secret Red.

The Moss’ decision to patronise the A.P Indy sire-line is confirmation of the stallion’s lasting impact as a sire and sire of sires.
Vinery stands one of the stallion’s most effective young guns, Congrats, who like Tapit was crowned Champion First Season Sire in 2010, ironically ahead of the Zenyatta’s first partner, Bernardini.
