SINGAPORE SALUTE FOR DUBLEO
8 March 2010 |
AN AUSTRALIAN bred Dubleo three-year-old bought at auction by `the Enforcer' Mick Dittman scored an impressive 3 3/4 lengths win at Kranji tonight.
It was the first victory in six local starts for Sinthree (Dubleo - Quiz About), a John Meagher-trained gelding owned the powerful Lim's Stable.
Sinthree raced on the speed before clearing out over the final section to win the 1200m maiden worth $65,000.
``He's got a nice pedigree and he's just taken a bit of time to find his feet,'' said Meagher.
``He did a good job today and hopefully he'll go on for us now.''
Sinthree was bought by former champion jockey Mick Dittman for $45,000 at the 2008 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
His dam is an Alquoz relation to Doncaster winner Soho Square.
